The always brilliant poet, journalist, & teacher Abdul Ali asked me to reflect on Sacrilegion, my soon-to-be 4-year-old baby, as I work on my second full-length manuscript in earnest. Read our conversation here!

 

I've been thinking a lot about the heteroglossia black & brown people have (& will need to deploy) in this latest wave of Reconstruction white male terrorism.

 

I'm excited, too, that in a couple of days I'll get to celebrate the lessons Bob KaufmanHenry Dumas, and others have to teach us at The Watering Hole Poetry retreat with Bettina JuddEvie ShockleySharan StrangeDasan AhanuMonifa Lemons, Candace Wiley, & others.
