How to Help With Hurricane Michael Recovery Efforts
On Oct. 10, 2018, Marianna, Jackson County's largest town, suffered severe damage to its downtown business district, several area churches, and countless homes. Millions of dollars in repairs lie before us in the months and years ahead. In some of the most rural areas, power may not be restored for several weeks and food is scarce. A number of churches, nonprofits, and prominent individuals are on the ground distributing food, water and other essentials while offering spiritual aid to those devastated by the gravity of their losses.
